Amhil is founded by two Dutch engineers with a commitment to quality and innovation in plastic packaging, serving North America's growing foodservice industry.
1990

Vision meets technology

Walter Kuskowski establishes Wentworth Technologies, laying the foundation for a future driven by engineering excellence and customer-centric manufacturing.
1997

Stronger together

Amhil becomes part of the Wentworth Technologies family, combining world-class product design with manufacturing expertise to better serve customers.
2000

Growing across borders

Amhil expands internationally with the creation of Amhil Europa in Poland, enabling faster service and stronger partnerships with European customers.
2002

Deepening capabilities

Wentworth Technologies acquires Stone, enhancing our tooling and production capabilities to support a wider range of packaging solutions.
2003

Clarity and performance

Amhil introduces PET lids, offering customers a clear, durable, and recyclable packaging option designed for superior presentation and performance.
2009

Adding versatility

The product portfolio grows with the addition of soufflé cups, the perfect solution for sauces, condiments, and portion control in foodservice applications.

Secure, stackable, reliable

Amhil launches hinged containers, helping customers ensure freshness and ease of use for takeout, delivery, and retail-ready packaging.

A trusted partnership begins

We receive our first purchase order from what becomes our largest customer. This moment marks the beginning of a partnership built on reliability, service, and shared growth.
2018

Built for the future

Amhil moves into a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario, increasing capacity and reinforcing our commitment to quality and speed.
2021

Innovation in sustainability

Stone introduces the Back to Earth™ compostable straw, empowering our customers with environmentally responsible alternatives to traditional plastic.
2022

Investing in speed and quality

To better meet growing demand, Amhil expands production with two advanced FTS lines. This investment allows us to deliver faster lead times, higher product consistency, and even greater reliability for our customers.
2024

A milestone in partnership

Amhil begins a major straw program in collaboration with a leading quick-service restaurant (QSR), a reflection of the trust our customers place in us for high-volume, high-precision packaging.

Leadership for what’s next
